Way back in 2003 Tyra Banks started a reality show to find super stars in the modelling world. Well fast forward to 2008, it’s West Africa’s turn. The West African Next Top Model or WANTFTM will actually go with the same model, only difference all aspiring contestants will be West African and Nigeria’s very own super model Oluchi will host the show that promises to leave viewers spell bound.
The show has been licensed in the Africa region from CBS paramount Television by STATS MEDIA Productions, a Nigerian in America owned production firm.
Whats in it for the winner you may ask? Well First stop is a one year contract worth $100000 with an international modelling agency, a luxurious car and designer clothes.
The show would consist of 16 one hour episodes and which would premiere on TV sometime next year. Each Eposide will highlight challenges and fashion photo shoots. Possibly trips away.
