“Jeffrey [Garret Mckenchnie] lives the ultimate bachelor’s life through numerous non committed relationships, but struggles to excel at work and gain his father’s love and acceptance.
Jeffrey’s life gets more intriguing when life deals him a card that stops him in his track. On a typical day, he returns from work to find a note “take care of your responsibility” Left on top a baby abandoned on his doorstep. In nothing short of what is scary, confusing and comedic, he turns to his Nigerian neighbour, Ada [Star actress Stephanie Okereke] who he has a secret crush on to help him.”

BOLLYWOOD MEETS NOLLYWOOD KATE HENSHAW AND SHAH RUKH KHAN April 25, 2008

“Since 2003, the Berlin International Film Festival has encouraged young filmmakers from all over the world and all professional fields to apply to the Berlinale Talent Campus. Over 350 of them are invited to Berlin each year to reflect on their ideas about film in lectures, ateliers and panel discussions, and to work on their projects in specialized hands-on workshops”

The discussion at the berlin internation festival was sold out within an hour!

The most world-renown face of Bollywood, the Indian movie star joined German leading lady Maria Schrader and Nollywood femme fatale Kate Henshaw-Nuttall at the Berlinale Talent Campus on Sunday morning for the discussion.

1.) Howard University African Students’ Association (HU-ASA) will be hosting its first African Business Conference from February 29- March 1, 2008 in conjunction with the Howard University Business School.

The primary aim of the conference is to highlight business and career opportunities in African countries as well as create a platform to showcase the positively thriving economic side of the African story to the global community.

Also Howard University African Students’ Association (HU-ASA) will be hosting its 5TH Annual Fashion Show. The show is tagged Mi Nyan Ntsee “The Return”. The show is on Friday, February 29 from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, at the Cramton Auditorium on Howard University Campus, Washington, DC.

GHANA’S FILM RISING STARS WATCHOUT NOLLYWOOD. February 5, 2007

Ghana’s movie industry is set to take the African continent by storm. Recent movies made show production quality. Fewer films are made in Ghana as opposed to Nigeria’s NOLLYWOOD industry; however, the plus to that is movies are carefully made and not simply rushed out in a week.

HERE ARE A COUPLE OF THE STARS IN GHANA TODAY

1. JACKIE APPIAH

Born Dec 5 1983
Married in 2005; her married name is JACKIE AYGEMANG
Says the happiest time of her life was having her son ‘Damian’
Top movie lead roles: DIVINE LOVE, BEYONCE’S DAUGHTER and recently the popular movie ‘MUMMY’S DAUGHTER’ (I recommend every one see this one)

2. VAN VICKER

Movie lead roles: divine love, beyonce the president’s daughter and mummy’s daughter.
I have personally been a fan of VAN VICKER from the first time I saw him on DIVINE LOVE. However, he is given lead roles that tend to make him seem submissive.

3. NADIA BUARI

Top movie roles: Anita in mummy’s daughter
she is the daughter of (President of the Musicians Union of Ghana)MUSIGA’s president, Sidiku Buari one of Ghana’s most successful musicians.
