Business Analyst (Project) at MTN Nigeria Communications Limited Description: Job Description
· Identify business needs/ project opportunities; and/ or audit existing policies, procedures, practices and technology
· Ensure business processes documentation and alignment with business strategy/ international best practice
· Develop functional specifications and/ or system design specifications for client engagements
· Design and develop business, financial and strategy models for management
· Analyse data gathered by self/ subordinate; review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions
· Make formal recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes as required
· Develop viable change management techniques and follow up with the personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems, strategy or procedures
· Collect, analyse, interpret, and summarise data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports and provide intelligence that supports business plans/ work schedule and decision-making
· Identify issues and generate insights for strategic decision making
Project Management/ Project Involvement
· Formulate and oversee well articulated project implementation plans
· Assist with project integration management across assigned departments/ within business area
· Communicate and apply project standards
Manage project resources in accordance with project scheduleRequired Skills
4 -5years work experience of which at least 2 years in business advisory/ consulting, i.e. proven:
Business Analysis and Process Improvement
System/ Process Design Specification
Project Execution/ Facilitation
Extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices, especially within applicable business area
Qualification First degree- preferably in a Social Science/ numerate discipline
