Civil Engineer Project ManagerProjects: Construction of Roads and BridgesLocation: Abuja, Nigeria
Experience: 3 to 4 years
Salary: DOE plus expense reimbursement and travel.
Position: Opportunity for an experienced, organized and motivated Project Manager who will provide overall field administration and management of roads and bridge construction for our client in Abuja, Nigeria.
Responsibilities:
Overall field administration, management and close-out of construction project;
Daily coordination of on-site/field operations and activities of company personnel & subcontractors;
Management of Project Schedule;
Management of labor & materials, equipment. control budget;
Writing of daily reports, change orders;
Ensuring and controlling quality;
Attend and lead weekly meetings. Management of subcontractor meetings;
Enforcing company safety standards, and security controls
Job Skills:
A minimum of three to four years experience as a Construction Project Manager in the USA;
Complete understanding of construction regulations, procedures and building codes (technology, equipment, methods);
Proficiency with reading and interpretation of construction drawings and specifications;
Experience generating and/or managing daily reports, submittals, drawings, change requests, punch lists;
Experience and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment;
Outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and work within deadlines;
